The Busoga Consortium and the Liaoning Province penned a signature on a trade memorandum of understanding that is meant to operationalise relations between Liaoning Province.
The fact that Uganda is a green country with very good weather and fertile soils for agriculture, Busoga region happens to be one of those regions endowed with fertile soil suitable for crop enterprises of Soya Beans, Corn, Sim Sim and Cassava which are widely grown crops in Busoga region.
The three-year trade MOU signed between Busoga Consortium and Liaoning Province is meant for farmers in the Busoga region and across the country to get value for money without characteristic actors called “middlemen”.
While on a phone interview with the Director of Busoga Consortium, Mr.Mula Anthony, called on the farmers at the household level in the Busoga region and across the country to be consistent in mass production and to also exhaust the benefits of the signed MOU.
