President Museveni is due this morning expected to preside over the swearing in of the new High Court judges that were recently approved by parliament.
The judges to swear in are; Gashirabake Christopher, Chemutai Tom, Tweyanze Lawrence, Wagona Vincent, Florence Nakacwa, and Komuhangi Alice.
The president will also preside over the swearing in of the new Inspector General of Government (IGG) Beti Tirwomwe Olive Namisango Kamya in a two in one funtion at the State House Entebbe.

On July 15, Museveni appointed former lands and Kampala minister Kamya to the Inspectorate of Government and was later on August 21 approved by the parliamentary appointments committee after a long exercise of scrutiny.
On August 19, the president also appointed seven new judges, five at the High Court and two at the court of Appeal/Constitutional court. The seven judges were weeks later approved by parliament.
