Agago district speaker, Ojok Samuel Kitang has warned councillors and persons who wants to attend council proceedings to acquire evidence of COVID-19 vaccination.

The speaker made remarks during a council meeting with district councillors and other technocrats where he directed that each councillor will be required to provide COVID-19 PCR test results or Certificate of vaccination before gaining access to council hall.

He noted that leaders must lead exemplary warning that whoever does not produce the required evidence will not be allowed to attend the meetings.

Meanwhile the Agago district Chairperson LCV, Leonard Ojok Opiyo in executive report to the council asked the speaker to allow councillors time to go and get vaccination emphasizing that non-vaccinated councillors won’t be allowed in the meeting.

The Adilang sub county councillor LCV, Anena Sunday Joyce suggests that the supply of the vaccines to the vaccination points should be elevated to ensure that the majority of people are vaccinated
