Bushenyi: Two Police Officers perish in road accident in Kasese.

Rwenzori west police have confirmed the death news of two police officers attached to Bushenyi Police Station who perished in a car accident today in Him a town Kasese district.

The deceased have been I identified as Wilson Mbusa and Daniel Kule, all police officers attached to Bushenyi police station.

According to Vincent Twesigye, the Rwenzori West Police Spokesperson, the accident occurred after a police PickUp vehicle Registration Number: UP 7527 in which the officers were travelling in lost  control and rammed into another stationary car.

Mr Vincent Twesigye said that the accident happened at Hima town along the Kasese – Fort portal Highway.

He further confirmed to this website that the deceased bodies have been rushed to Kasese Health Centre III for a postmortem as investigations into the cause of the accident continues.

An anonymous source from Bushenyi revealed that the Police Pickup involved in an accident is new and had just been given to the district.

“….traveling in our Brand new car which had just been given to Bushenyi die in a nasty accident in Kasese a few minutes ago.May thier souls rest in peace,” Anonymous.

This site could not establish whether the vehicle was in poor mechanical conditions since trials reaching to concerned bodies were futile.
