The senior presidential advisor on public relations, Canon Mary Karooro Okurut, has encouraged school girls in Bushenyi to have faith and trust in God in order to achieve academic excellence. Speaking at a church service held at St. Paul Chapel, Bweranyangi girls SS, Karooro highlighted the importance of emulating the commitment to God shown by President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni.
Karooro emphasized the value of humility, stating that it does not equate to being dull but rather signifies strength. Atuhairwe Juliet Muzoora, the Headteacher of Bweranyangi Girls SS, praised the efforts of the school’s Old girls in spearheading the construction of St. Paul chapel and supporting various school activities.
The call to trust in God and embrace humility serves as a reminder to the young girls in Bushenyi that their academic success is not solely dependent on their own efforts, but also on their faith and character. As they continue their education, this message will undoubtedly resonate with them as they strive for excellence in their studies.
