“Our children should not only aim for academic excellence, but also be given a platform to grow their talents. I pledge to establish football academies across Ruhinda South so that our youth can develop skills that will open doors for them nationally and internationally,” he said.

The match was attended by local sports officials, headteachers, religious leaders, and community members. Kabira Archdeacon delivered the closing prayer, blessing the initiative and calling for unity in supporting youth development.

A similar event was held at Mayanga Playground, where Kabira Academy faced off with Mayanga Academy. Byamugisha, who also officiated at that game, commended stakeholders for their continued efforts to empower the youth through sports.
