The Christians of Bwera Church of Uganda in Kyeizooba subcounty were recently inspired by the powerful message delivered by Dr. Silver Mugisha, the Managing Director of National Water and Sewerage Corporation.
During the Mary Day celebrations at the church, Dr. Mugisha emphasized the importance of hard work and self-development for personal growth. He encouraged the congregation to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.
Dr. Mugisha, known for his commitment to the gospel of development, highlighted the need for individuals to take charge of their own progress. He believes that by investing in themselves, they can attract support from the government and other stakeholders.
Alongside his wife, Hon. Annet Mugisha, a member of parliament for Bushenyi district, Dr. Mugisha has championed initiatives such as Bamugisha Community Welfare LTD, which has empowered community members to improve their livelihoods.
In a generous gesture, Dr. Mugisha donated a sum of five million Ugandan Shillings towards the development of church projects in Bwera. This contribution is expected to enhance the infrastructure and services offered by the church, benefiting both the congregation and the wider community.
