The police Directorate of Criminal Investigative Department (CID) Kibuli has sent criminal summons to erratic blogger Isma Olaxes over his recent video on city bomings.
In a video that went viral on the internet, the blogger is seen speaking in a native language- Luganda that he would one day ask the sucide bombers to attack the biggest Kampala market St. Balikuddembe popularly known as Owino market but as attempted last week the parliament of Uganda.
“Olunaku lumu ngyakugamba Walahi ng’omusilamu nsabe omuntu wa boomu mugambe toyingila ku parliament, Nedda! Yingira mu Owino olyoke ogite,” Isma said in a video.
According to the PRO CID Charles Twiine, Isma has been summoned for interrogation over similar utterances.
In October, the blogger was arrested with other entertainment journalists including Isaac Kawalya aka Kayz, Brian Wako and William Nkuluri, all attached to the Naguru Hill based NBS Television and charged with offensive communication and criminal defamation against local musician Omulangira Ssuuna, but they were later released on bail.
Moments later, a Tik Tok video of blogger Isma circulated on social media alleging that he had engaged in the killing of reknown city music Producer Danz ku Mapeesa, but was never arrested.
