Crime Intelligence operatives have made a breakthrough in the case of the double murders that shocked the community in Kasega parish, Kapeke sub-county, Kiboga district. Two suspects, Sulaiman Sentongo and Namuleme Maureen, have been apprehended in connection with the heinous crime.
Sulaiman Sentongo, a 32-year-old witch doctor from Kirinda village, Kasega parish, was tracked down to Kireka, Kampala, where he was captured on the night of April 5, 2024. His accomplice, Namuleme Maureen, 41, was also arrested for allegedly aiding Sentongo in fleeing the scene.
The victims, two young children named Nantongo Sylvia and Nakasumba Esther, went missing on April 3, 2024, and their remains were tragically found the following day in Kirinda village. The discovery led investigators to the door of Sentongo, who is currently detained at Kiboga CPS for questioning.
The community is in shock over the brutal murders, and the authorities are working diligently to ensure that justice is served. As the investigation unfolds, more information will be revealed. The suspects are currently in custody, and the police are determined to uncover the truth behind this senseless act of violence.
