Reports on our desk indicate that the Electiral Commission has thrown out of the Kampala Lord Mayor race DP’s candidate, Beatrice Kayanja after she failed to produce substantial requirements for her nomination.
At least five people have so far expressed interests in the city’s hot seat in the ongoing nominations yet to close.
These include among others; incumbent Erias Lukwago (fdc), Daniel Kazibwe aka Singer Ragga Dee (NRM), Hon. Nabilah Nagayi Ssempala (NUP), and Kayanja has been thrown out.
