The Forum for Democratic Change has temporary closed its offices countrywide due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
The deputy party spokesperson John Kikonyogo has disclosed that top party officials have a greed to use this as a temporary measure to combat the spread of COVID-19 among staff.
“Given the current second wave of Covid-19, the FDC is closing all its offices across the country because leaving these offices open would put our officials in danger.”
While speaking to our reporter, Kigonyogo faulted the government failure to sensitize the masses about corona virus and feeding them with necessary information about the new variant the negligence that has left many in a panic mode.
