OBITUARY:
Former Ishaka-Bushenyi municipality MP Hon. Arinda Gordon alias CowBoy has passed on.
Reports indicate that the ex legislator succumbed to COVID-19 at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.
“Colleagues we’ve just lost a colleague of the 10th Parliament Hon. Arinda Gordon aka Cowboy of Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality. He died of covid a shortwhile ago at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital. I went to see him on wednesday and he was stabalising but on a ventilator. All of a sudden things went bad and he was rushed to ICU Yesterday. He died around 6pm today,” read a condolence message on WhatsApp.
The Government Chief Whip, Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, has eulogises the deceased who he said their last moments were in a union prayer at the hospital.
“Rest In Peace my brother Gordon. When I went to see U at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital on Wednesday I didn’t know COVID w’d take u. We prayed & thanked God for having defeated the devil not knowing it was meant to take u today evening. So so sad!” Tayebwa eulogised.
