Police in Butaleja district is investigating circumstances underwhich a fuel pump attendant at Grassland Fuel Station in Butaleja town council was killed in a gruesome murder.
The deceased is identified as Bob Wandage 22, he was found at the pump station yesterday morning by his colleagues.
The Bukedi South Police Spokesperson Moses Mugwe said the security guard at the fuel pump station, Asuman Guloba reported Wandage’s murder to the police.
“Police led by Butaleja District Police Commander, Aggrey Twesigye and the Homicide team immediately visited the scene to ascertain the cause of Wandage’s death.” Mugwe narrating.
According to Mugwe, the Security Guard who reported the matter has been detained since he was on duty with the deceased at the time of death.
Butaleja Resident District Commissioner, Stanley Bayoole has appealed to residents to cooperate with the Police and provide any information leading to the whereabouts of the killers.
