Glovo Uganda proudly announces the appointment of Ivy Maingi as its new General Manager. With extensive experience in marketing and management.
Maingi brings a strong track record of success and a deep understanding of the technology sector.
Maingi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Daystar University in Kenya.
Her career spans various strategic roles, beginning as an Account Executive at John Gray Communications and later serving as Head of Institutional Retail at Alibhai Sharriff and Sons.
She further honed her expertise as a Brand Executive at Scanad before advancing to Account Coordinator and Key Account Manager at Uber Eats in Nairobi, where she distinguished herself in supporting restaurant partners.
In August 2023, Maingi stepped into the role of Head of Commercial for Kenya, where her leadership and innovative strategies quickly earned her accolades. Her outstanding performance paved the way for her current appointment as General Manager of Glovo Uganda in July 2024.
