Hoima district chairman LCV, Kirungi Kadiri has passed on after he was involved in a nasty road accident on Friday evening.
The accident occured at a place called Kateera – Bukomelo in Kiboga district along Kampala – Hoima Highway.
Reports indicate that Kadiri and another occupant of his car purportedly his bodyguard all died on spot.
Chairman Kadiri was in December 2021 arrested alongside three members of his executive by the State House Anti-Corruption Unit for allegedly embezzling funds obtained after hiring out district road equipments to Kiryandongo District Loval Governement.
