On April 26th, Hon. Rosemary Nyakikongolo, the Sheema District Woman Member of Parliament, paid a heartfelt visit to Glorious Betonde, the mother of sextuplets born on Good Friday. The extraordinary births took place at Neocare Fertility Hospital in Mbarara City, and the newborns are currently receiving specialized care at Holy Innocents Children’s Hospital in their state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
During her visit, Hon. Nyakikongolo congratulated Betonde and Vincent on the miraculous arrival of her six babies, describing them as a “bundle of joy.” She expressed her prayers for the children to grow into remarkable individuals and pledged her unwavering support to the family as they navigate the challenges of raising sextuplets.
Nyakikongolo also extended her gratitude to the dedicated team at Holy Innocents Children’s Hospital for their exceptional care and to the visionary behind the establishment of such a vital facility in Western Uganda. She emphasized the importance of community support, urging those who are able to contribute in any way to assist the family in raising the babies.
