The hand of death has again struck the business sector after the sudden death of hotelier Deogracious Obenobusingye also known as Deo Musiiba Tie the founder of Western Meridian Hotel in Bushenyi district.
Musiiba Tie as popularly known passed away today August 4 at a hospital in Kampala. He is also a prominent hardware business dealer in the greater Bushenyi region.
“Sad new member, One of members @25677*****19 Mzee Deo Obenobusingye has gone to see the Lord. May his soul rest in internal peace. We shall miss you Mzee,” read a message from Benson, a perticipant in Sheema South Platform, a WhatsApp group in which the deceased subscribed.
He is the brain behind the investment for a 3-star hotel in Bushenyi district, Western Meridian Hotel that has been providing accomodations and other hotel services for over the last two decades.
“In the Spirit of Love that Unites, we have lost a business partner and a friend Deo Aka Musiiba the owner of Western Meridian. Bushenyi has lost an Icon,” another forwarded WhatsApp message eulogized.
Located 25 miles from Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Western the hotel also features a garden, a restaurant and a bar. It is a 5′ drive from Kampala International University western campus in Ishaka.
