After signing a working cooperation agreement with NRM yesterday,DP president Norbert Mao has been appointed Minister of Justice.
According to a statement released by the office of the president today Norbert Mao will be Uganda’s Minister of Justice and Constitutional affairs going forward.
Yesterday,the contract signed by both parties made rounds all over social media which many people termed as betrayed and treason by the poetic DP president Norbert Mao.
The signing of the contract was confirmed by a tweet from the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who posted that the two parties had signed a contract of cooperation.
While on a a local television yesterday night, Mao confirmed his agreement with NRM . The eloquent DP president added that opposition is just a sign of failure to acquire power and command numbers
“People think opposition is a badge of honor. Opposition means you have failed to get power. In other countries, it means you don’t have numbers.” He said
Mao’s decision is still considered so controversial by many after the DP president has been heard at many occasions speaking I’ll about the NRM rule which he has always considered dictatorial.
