KENYA: Kenyans from the Rift Valley -the Kalenjin are mourning sudden death of their popular secular music artist Harmon Arap Rono Kipkirui alias Rhino Kaboom who died on spot after getting involved in a tragic car accident.
The incident occurred at Emining Saos Rd, Baringo County on Sunday evening at around 7pm when Rhino Kaboom riding on a motorcycle rammed into a Toyota Probox car Reg No. K.E 378S that knocked him dead.
Rhino Kaboom is reknown of singing a number of captivating songs which have won him both praise and condemnations across the Rift Valley region.
His widely danced and listened to songs include; chomyet Verah, Monica, Tamu tamu Beril chomyet, among many other envied songs.
The accident occured three years after another famous Kalenjin artist, Kenene International, died in fatal road accident in 2018. Lady Diana Chelele died a similar death.
Traffic police arrived at the scene of the accident to assess the situation.
Many Kalenjin have taken to their social media platforms to mourn for the fallen hero who was not only raising talents in the rift valley region but also a brand ambassador at Young Fashions Kericho.
