Keddi Foundation has reiterated its commitment to stand with Buganda Kingdom and donated millions of shillings to support the 2024 Airtel Kabaka birthday run.
Steven Kedi, the Executive Director of the foundation who led the delegation at Bulange Mengo yesterday disclosed USD 20,000 fund is to support the Buganda Kingdom efforts to fight against HIV/ AIDS in Buganda and Uganda and assured the Kabaka of Buganda that the foundation will continue supporting all the initiatives of the kingdom intending to improve the social economic and healthy development of all the people.
The foundation also supported the 2024 11th Edition of Airtel Kabaka birthday run with Ugx 10million and bought the running kits of Ugx 4 million.
“We’re dedicated to serving humanity in various sectors including relief and disaster management, water and sanitation, and beyond. Together, let’s make a difference”-Keddi.
Today’s (Sunday 7th April 2024) #KabakaBirthdayRun has been under the theme “Men are stars in the fight against HIV/AIDS to save the Girl Child”.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister of Buganda kingdom, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga who received the cheque and Cash money from Kedi Foundation at Bulange Mengo applauded Keddi foundation for coming out to partner with Buganda kingdom to save the life of Ugandans against HIV/AIDs.
