ACADEMIC REPORT:
As Lira University prepares to hold a 3rd graduation ceremony on on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the university grounds, graduands have been moving up and down with their clearance forms in search for signatures as a prerequisite for graduation.
Students have defined the exercise as the most tiresome and hectic one than the course itself.
In order to ensure observance of the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures- SOPs, each Graduand is give an opportunity to invite atmost one person as a witness who is supposed to come along with their immunization cards and a face mask.
The university administrators say they have have come up with these measures so as to avoid the spread of COVID 19 during the cerebration.
The total number of Graduands are 343 with 193 males and 150 being females and the percentage ratio is 56.3:43.7 respectively.
