Mbarara Diagnostic Centre football team has empirically proven to Holy Innocents’ Children’s hospital in Nyamitanga that Co-curricular activities have since time memorial not a scientist’s gig.
This was during a friendly football match between both teams that was played at Holy Innocents children’s sports arena (the hosts) at Nyamitanga hill in Nyamitanga division Mbarara city.
In a 90 minutes match, the visitors (MDC) diluted the prayerful hosts (HICH) hammering them with 3:2 goals.
Goal scorers for Mbarara diagnostic center were Kahigi George and Bugono Clifford while Dr. Andrew Kwikiriza and Brian Kwikiriza scored the only two gials for Holy innocents.
This was a second friendly match HICH hosted at home after their 2:1 goals win against Mayanja Memorial Hospital on May 9.
Speaking shortly after the match, MDC team captain Jjuko Albert hailed the management of holy innocents children’s hospital for inviting them and always supporting Mbarara diagnostic center.
He appealed to both sides to maintain mutual cooperation in order to provide holistic health care to the communities they serve.
The 4D’s looking Nassa Kazibwe, captain for HICH thanked players from Mbarara diagnostics for honoring an invitation to a friendly match.
