An unidentified 30years-old man has been lynched by an angry mob on allegations of oil siphoning.
The incident occurred last night at around 2AM EAT in Nawandyo parish, Bukasa B village in Wankole Sub county Kamuli district.
Its alleged that residents suspected the deceased to be a member of a gang that has been disrupting the community by siphoning oil from transformers at night.
Micheal Nyeko, the OC Wankole police station condemned the incident warning members of the public against taking the law in their hands.
He said police has taken the body of the deceased to the mortuary for postmortem as investigations into the matter continue.
