A mother in Entebbe municipality, Wakiso district has cut off her biological seven-year-old daughter’s head over unestablished reasons.
The horrifying incident occurred in Nalugala, Katabi Town Council in the Entebbe area.
The mother has been identified as Tumusiime Gorette, she allegedly killed her daughter (identity still unknown) by slitting her throat using a sharp knife and after intoxicated herself with furl substances in an alleged attempted suicide.
However, she survived death after she was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Residents who were first to arrive at the scene, led by youth leader Jonathan Ssemukuye, said they found the woman locked inside the house.
Police from Kisubi later arrived, took the body, and transported it to Mulago Hospital for a postmortem. Police is still investigating the matter.
