RUKUNGIRI:
High Court at Rukungiri has sentenced to 23 years in jail a mother after she was found guilty of killing her own son.

Court presided over by Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumi found out that on 15th August 2021 while at Rurindo cell, Ngoma parish, Nyakishenyi sub county, Rukungiri district, Tindikahwa Leodera 53, conspired with her other son Kiiza Linas 15, and killed Twinamatsiko Edson, in a land wrangle.
Prosecution presented evidence that proved the two guilty.
Tindikahwa Leodera was sentenced to 23 years and 9 months imprisonment whereas Kiiza Linasi was sent to the Kampiringisa juvenile remand for rehabilitation for 12 months.
