MBARARA
Plice in Mbarara City have launched an investigation into the tragic death of Nahwera Prossy, a 20-year-old student at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST). Nahwera was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
The lifeless body of the deceased was discovered by her roommate at around 4:00 PM in their hostel room located in TASO Village. The cause of death has not yet been established.
Nahwera was a first year student and she had just reported for her second semester.
The body has been transported to the Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death. Police inquiries into the matter are still ongoing.
SP Kasasira Samson, PRO Rwizi Region, confirmed the incident and assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted.
