For more than a fortnight, the nation has been brought to coldness with self-centered city lawyer Male Mabirizi’s plot to sue presidential hopeful also Kyadondo East MP Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine regarding contradictory information on the parliamentary website and his Academic documents.

Mabirizi petitioned the Electoral Commission and UNEB for certified copies of Hon. Kyagulanyi’s academic papers to ascertain his claim. According to Mabirizi, Bobi Wine lied about his age and doesn’t suit to be a President due to his “poor” performance in Mathematics at O’level.

This caused trauma among the members of the public and in the people power – NUP camp which he (Kyagulanyi) heads.

Today, Bobi Wine has come out to clear the air on the ongoing narratives regarding the information on his academic and birth records.

The optimistic NUP- leader who claims has known about the matter today morning has asked the public not to worry about the records.

“This morning my attention was drawn to an alteration in the information on the website of Parliament, my year if birth was altered from 1982 to 1980 without my knowledge. I immediately called the IT department of parliament and they claimed not to know who made that change….” Bobi Wine posted on his social media platform.

He said that he has tasked parliament to explain on the changes pledging to talk to the Director of Parliament on the same issue.

He asked the public not to raise hearts on his academic papers and other records.

“There is no cause for alarms with regards to all my records – academic and others,” said Strong-hearted Bobi Wine. He added that parliament has temporarily rectified the errors.

He said he will address the public about the specifications saying that the contradictions is an attempt by the government to block, embarrass and detract its opponents.
