As parliamentary nominations commence, Kampala City Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyajura and other politicians have sought blessings from Owobusobozi Bisaka, the leader of Faith of Unity.
Doreen Nyajura, a known opposition member of the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) and Deputy Lord Mayor, for Kampala joined other politicians in Kyejonjo to seek election blessings.
This was during a three-day event at Rugombe Intambiro where Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka led prayers for healing and taught the importance of unity among members of parliament and those seeking to unseat them. Over 200 people converted to the Faith of Unity, drawn by the teachings.
Owobusobozi emphasized the importance of supporting the Faith, which operates independently of foreign religions. He also encouraged followers to adopt the Faith’s calendar, which prioritizes workdays with rest and healing days on the 2nd, 12th, and 22nd of each month.
Top politicians, including Nyajura, who is vying for Mwenge Central, David Muhumuza (Mwenge North MP), and Paul Asaba Nsabimana (Kyaka North MP), expressed gratitude for Owobusobozi’s efforts in uniting people and teaching them to work hard. They requested his blessings for the upcoming elections. Owobusobozi is scheduled to visit Kampala Bukwenda at Nsambya Intambiro from the 14th to 16th of next month, where he will teach unity and mobilize support for President Museveni and the NRM party.
