Christian Life church at Makerere Kavule proprietor, Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga has denied media reports on homosexual allegations that is pinning his fellow christian Church leader Pastor Robert Kayanja of Lubaga Miracle Center.
This was during the media press conference at Kavule.
“The allegations that have been circulating on different media platforms that I promised different young men Ugx76 million to say that Pastor Robert Kayanja sodomized them is not true and it’s intended to create hatred between me and Pr Kayanja. I never gave Media information about that,” Ssenyonga revealed.
In 2020-21, he continued narrating, “A group of young men approached me claiming that they have been sodomized by Pastor Robert Kayanja and they wanted me to assist them to get justice which I did by trying to engage my brother Kayanja in October 2021 such that we have a meeting to talk on this matter which the boys were saying but he declined, then the boys instead went to Christian Miracle Center Lubaga to seek for more help but they were arrested for trespass and now being charged in courts of laws.”
“What pains me is that these boys went to police to file the case but their file was closed and now DDP and court are just proceeding with pastor Kayanja’s file,” this Pastor Ssenyonga says is not fair because both side needs to be hard justice to prevail.
“These boys gave me graphic details of what transpired to them, they were recruited and lured with money and after sodomized. Despite the above, I still do believe what I was hearing and seeing just wanted Pr. Kayanja to give them benefit of doubt but am not pinning my him neither am I saying he is a homosexual,” Ssenyonga refuted.
He asked the DPP to consider the closed file noting that the alleged victims need fair justice.
“While there are likely to be some boys who may want to take the advantage of the situation to make money, it is also important for DDP to know that there are also boys who are insisting that they were actually sodomized and deserve to be heard” Jackson says
“In my humble view, it is important that justice is not only done but seen to be done and this can only be achieved if the complaints by both sides and not merely one side are given serious consideration” Ssenyonga concluded.
