MASAKA
Masaka’s oldest priest, Rev. Fr. Paul Kafeero Senior, has been laid to rest in Masaka.
Fr. Kafeero commonly known as Paul Kafeero Senior died last week on Friday January 24th, 2025, according to the Bishop of Masaka Diocese, Rt. Serverus Jjumba.
Kafeero was born in 1930 and ordained a Priest in 1961, he died at 95 years.
He has been serving at Kitovu Cathedral Parish, Masaka Diocese.
He has served as the catholic priest for about 65 years. He chose the title of Senior to differentiate him from the late musician, Paul Kafeero.
The funeral took place at Bukalasa Minor Seminary cemetery on Monday 27th January 2025, beginning with Holy Mass which started at 12:00 noon.
May he rest in eternal peace.
