Kihihi police have arrested three suspects for allegedly possessing government drugs illegally. The suspects, identified as Musinguzi Alex (51), Mwesigwa Milton alias Emmanuel (30) and Kabyesiza Esau (28) are currently in custody at Kihihi Police Station.

Musinguzi Alex, an askari attached to Kambuga Hospital in Kanungu District, was arrested after a boda boda rider abandoned his motorcycle upon seeing a patrol team near River Ishasha. The motorcycle was taken to the Ishasha UPDF barracks for inspection which was found carrying government drugs wrapped in a polythene paper. The drugs included five tins of Panadol, one tin of chloramphenicol, and two boxes of Cortem Lumartem.
