BUSHENYI
Police in Bushenyi district is investigating circumstances under which a student of Uganda Technical College – UTC Bushenyi died in a road accident.
The fatal accident occured today morning at around 10am in Kyeigombe, Kyabugimbi subcounty, Bushenyi district.
SSP Martial Tumusiime, greater Bushenyi region police spokesperson has confirmed to the reports. He identified the deceased as Jefferson Kabeza, 22, a student of UTC Bushenyi.
According to eyewitnesses, Kabeza lost control of the motor vehicle registration number UAY 626K which he was driving and rammed into a building dying instantly.
Tumusiime said police arrived at the scene of the accident and conveyed the deceased body to Kyabugimbi Health Centre IV for a postmortem. Meanwhile, an inquiry into the cause of this accident is ongoing.
