Kampala Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura’s brother has been reportedly shot dead in Ntinda, a Kampala outskirt town.
The tragic incident happened on Thursday evening when unknown gunmen shot and injured Albert Cook Tugume, a mobile money operator and brother to Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura in a suspected armed robbery.
Further reports indicate that the incident occurred near Fraine Supermarket in Ntinda, witnesses reported hearing gunshots before the assailants fled the scene with an unspecified amount of money.
