Real Madrid are set to join the race for Bayern Leverkusen wonderkid Kai Havertz amid Chelsea’s interest in the £70m-rated midfielder.

Kai Havertz who is turning to 21years of age today, is the first Bundesliga player to score 35goals in the league competitions before his 21st birthday.

Despite R.Madrid’s interests in the player, Havertz prefers playing in the English Premier League to Spanish LA Liga. A bigger number of English clubs including Manchester United have so far expressed interests in the player. However, Chelsea fc still lead the chase.

Foot ball experts in Europe say that ‘The Blues’ have a pole position to sign the player.

Chelsea further is targeting to splash £27m on Ghana’s Andre Onana at Ajax Amsterdam. PSG is also eyeing the same star during this summer.

In other news, Portgual winger Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus this summer as the Serie A club look to ease their financial burden amid the coronavirus pandemic.
