According to Lieutenant Nathan Tumuhairwe the public information officer UPDF recruitment Team, Team Three Busoga sub region their initial target in Busoga sub region is 969 recruits but for Kamuli district they want only 129.

“Our initial target is to have 969 recruits in the entire Busoga sub region and we have a target from each district in Busoga but for this case in Kamuli district we want only 129 recruits”; he said.

Lt Tumuhairwe also highlighted mismatch and late coming as the only challenges they have faced during the first day of recruitment exercise and screening.

“Some challenges; their people who with mismatches. You find someone who applied is Isabirye Kakaire and we receive Musa Kakaire so in that situation we can not allow him join because that one become a different person.
