A new record has been written down in the books of Church of Uganda today as Rev. Enock Kakuru was announced as the new appointed Archdeacon of Ntusi Archdeaconry in Sembabule.
This will make him the youngest Archdeacon in the Province of Church of Uganda.
Rev Kakuru, now Venerable Kakuru, aged 32 years has until today been the Parish Priest of Katovu Church of Uganda in Lyantonde Archdeaconry in West Buganda Diocese.
Ven. Kakuru is married and is a trained Community gender activist.
The announcement was made today by Bishop of West Buganda Diocese Rt Rev Henry Katumba Tamale.
