Known for his courage and integrity, Major Kazoora was a vocal advocate against corruption and a staunch defender of democratic principles. His memoir, “Betrayed by My Leader”, published in 2012, offered a candid account of his experiences in Ugandan politics and his disillusionment with President Museveni’s leadership.

Before his political career, Major Kazoora served in the National Resistance Army (NRA), contributing to Uganda’s liberation struggle. However, he later became a critic of the regime, advocating for governance reforms and the rule of law.

The FDC and other political leaders have expressed profound sorrow at his passing, highlighting his immense contributions to Uganda’s political landscape. His legacy as a principled leader and a voice for justice will be remembered by many.

Details about funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
