The Kasanda police is investigating circumstances under which a security guard was murdered, another beaten to comma and Pepsi deport robbed in Kasanda.
According to the Wamala region police spokesperson SP recheal Kawala, the deceased is Ali Buni Simon, a security guard at the deport.
“Police have received information about the dead body. When police rushed at the scene, the security gurad was found in a pool of blood , along aide his colleague who are suspected to have been killed by unkown assailants . The two security guards from the Pepsi deport and one was found dead while another was in comma.” Kawala explained
She also added that the identified victim was recognised as Innocent Alumanyi and was rushed to Kassanda health Centre Iv for medical attention.
Kawala said that police homicide team led by Officer In-charge Criminal Investigation Directorate visited the scene and investigations have commenced while the body of the deceased was taken to Kassanda health centre 1Vfor postmortem examination.
No arrests have been made regarding this case.
