The Head Office of the National Chairman-NRM SPA Namyalo Hadijah Uzeiya has paid a courtesy visit to Bulange Mengo as the Kingdom intensifies preparations for the annual Kabaka birthday run. In company of Kampala central Mayor Salim Uhuru, Hajjat Namyalo was in Mengo to convey a message from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
While speaking in Mengo, Hajjat Namyalo said she remains committed to be part of the team that fights for the wellbeing of all Ugandans. She advised Ugandans especially Bazzukulu to take all precautionary measures against HIV/AIDS.
Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga appreciated Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo for always supporting the Buganda kingdom initiatives citing that this isn’t the first time. He also asked Hajjat Namyalo to convey the Kingdoms message of appreciation to the President for his timely support for the Kabaka birthday run 2024.
The Katikiro also noted that when President Museveni had just come from the Bush, he immediately picked up a fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS, a fight he remains committed. It’s therefore not a surprise that he has supported the Kabaka birthday run 2024 that is centered around eliminating HIV/AIDS
This year’s Kabaka Birthday run will happen this Sunday 7th April 2024 under the theme “Men are stars in the fight against HIV/AIDS to save a girl child”.
Office of the National Chairman-NRM will through its coordinators deliver Birthday run kits to Bazzukulu across Buganda region.
