President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Kenya’s Vice President William Ruto at Die Group Matuga Wakiso district at the laying of the foundation stone of a Biological Drugs and mRNA vaccine manufacturing facility.

She says the president announced total lockdown and therefore cut down all public engagements and most of his work has been through virtual meetings on Radios and Televisions. She says those creating unnecessary fear and panic among the public by spreading such news could be criminals with an intent to cause havoc should be investigated by UCC and arrested for abuse as action will be taken.

She also assures the public that the president is safe and encourages Ugandans to continue following SOPs issued by the ministry of health.

Nabusaayi’s letter follow lots of social media posts which circulated have been making rounds announcing that the president had died.

On Tuesday however the president made a public appearance and residents of Bwaise, Kawempe, Kagoma and Matuga defied SOPs regulations on social distancing as they stood by the roadside just waiting to see whether the president was alive waving at him as he made his way to Matuga in Wakiso district where he was accompanied by his guest the Vice President of Kenya H.E William Ruto to lay a foundation stone of a multibillion building for the Biological Drugs and mRNA vaccine manufacturing facilty under the Dei Group.
