In a show of unity and collaboration, the esteemed Superior Supreme Sheikh Mohammed Galabuzi graced Nkozi Hospital with a pastoral visit, spreading goodwill and appreciation for the healthcare services provided by the institution. The Sheikh’s presence filled the ambiance of Nkozi Hospital in Nkozi Mawokota county with a sense of honor and respect.
During his visit, the Nkozi Hospital administration, led by Sr. Nalumansi Elizabeth and Dr. Mayanja Joseph, warmly welcomed the Sheikh and his delegates with smiles and gratitude. Dr. Mayanja, representing Medical Director Dr. Criscent Tumuhaise, expressed gratitude for the visit and highlighted the importance of the Sheikh’s presence in recognizing and supporting the hospital’s efforts in promoting health in the community.
Sr. Nalumansi Elizabeth, in her speech, acknowledged the Moslem leadership for their concern in checking on Nkozi Hospital and emphasized the collaborative efforts between the hospital and the Moslem community. She also commended the employment of Moslem staff within the hospital and outlined ongoing projects, such as the construction of an accident and emergency unit and the implementation of a health insurance scheme.
The Superior Supreme Sheikh Mohammed Galabuzi, in return, praised the dedication of the hospital staff and administration in providing healthcare services to the people. He encouraged political leaders to support the health insurance scheme and contribute to the hospital’s projects. Additionally, he assured continuous support from the Uganda Moslem community in their journey of promoting health services.
As a gesture of appreciation, the Nkozi Hospital administrators presented the Sheikh with gifts of matooke and a hen, and planted a tree in honor of his visit. The visit not only strengthened the bond between the Moslem community and the hospital but also highlighted the importance of collaboration in improving healthcare services for the community.
