The Pride of Bunyoro Kitara football club which started started in 2010, as a community founded and owned team with huge attachment to the local communities in Bunyoro. Its nick …as the royals last season won the 50th edition of the stanbic Uganda Cup where they defeated NEC football club 1- 0 in a fiercely contested match .
Kitara FC which finished fourth in the domestic league which even just missed by a whiskey when they spent several months on the top of the table
Them winning Uganda Cup was the best gift Kitara FC players dedicated to the supporters who consistently traveled from Hoima for every match
Two months after this mega victory the Kitala FC team led by the president , C.E.O and players decided to visit the Faith of Unity headquarters in Kapyemi Muhororo town council kagadi district to thank the founder and head of the Faith of Unity Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka for blessings the team.
The team president Deo Kasozi Akiiki, thanked Owobusobozi for always praying and blessings them when ever they have a match hence not surprised on the performance and results they managed to acquire last season
In His remarks Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka emphasized players to be disciplined and always work hard for the better results
