The Uganda Examinations Board (UNEB), a body under the Ministry of Education responsible for handling National exams has called upon The heads of Examination centres to submit in coursework results for Students by September 30th 2023.
According to Jenifer Kalule Musumba , the Principal Public Relations officer at UNEB, schools are requested to submit their candidates scores electronically via the UNEB portal by Saturday at midnight
“The subjects that require coursework submission include technical drawing, Art and design, French, woodwork, meal work and building practice “ Kalule added.
Kalule also noted that late submissions will attract surcharges of fifty thousand shillings per candidate and no coursework shall be received after October 15th 2023.
“UNEB would like to inform Heads of Centres who have not yet collected stationary to do with immediate and make sure that timetables are displayed on the school noticeboards” she said.
The Uganda National Examinations are set to begin on Friday October 13th with the briefing of UCE candidates and candidates will begin writing their papers on Monday, October 16th starting with Geography.
