St Mary’s Kitende faced off with St Andrew Kagwa Gombe SS in the 2022 USSSA boys final. St Mary’s Kitende had thrashed Kibuli SS in their semi final and St Andrews Kagwa Gombe SS edged the Wakiso district champions Buddo SS.
From the beginning of the game,St Mary’s Kitende displayed more zeal to win the the game and in just seven minutes they were up none other than Charles Lwanga. Just in 14 minutes the saint of Kitende continued to perform more miracles Elvis Ngondwe with another goal to double the lead. St Mary’ Kitende leading with a double at the break.
In the second half The Gombe saint returned charged with determination not to concede and to pay their deficit . Despite the determination they failed to qxcomaccom the two,not conceding any goal in the second half but fsilifa to pay their debt ,The Kitende Saint champion again.
This meant that St Mary’s Kitende have added a tenth trophy in their trophy box and St Andrews Kagwa Gombe SS failing to get their first .A party for the saint of Kitende who acquired more annointing and was able to perform more miracles than the Saint of Gombe who appeared to be insufficient in their annointing .
