Ugandans are in fears of a total lockdown due to resurgence in COVID-19 cases a head of President Museveni nation’s address on corona virus situation.
The President will address the nation on the current COVID-19 situation today at 8PM.
According to the presidential senior press Secretary Ms. Linda Nabusaayi, the President will talk to the nation from state house Nakaseero and the address will be aired live on all radios and Televisions.
In his last address held on June 6th, Museveni directed for a reclosure of schools, places of worship and banned interditrict movements among other restrictions.
With surging confirmed and death cases in the Country, Ugandans are living in a state of fears of a total lockdown from the president’s speech.
At the beginning of this month, many Ugandans were spotted trafficking Taxi and Bus Parks returning to their upcountry homes.
A few who remained in urban areas have since stocked plenty of food predicting another total lockdown.

48,823 and 542 deaths.
A total sample of
1,228,618 has been tested for COVID-19 and those who have been vaccinated against the virus are
812,118 people.
