The territorial Police at Kira Road has this morning of 15th June 2022, at around 1:20am registered a fatal accident in which ex-MP Bafaki Gordon passed on at Kiwatule along Northern Bypass involving Motorvehicle reg. KBZ 539Z Mercedes Benz trailer and Motorvehicle reg. UBD 965E Toyota land cruiser TX.
The only survivor who was the driver of the Trailer identified as Kahagi John Kinuthia is in police custody to help in investigations as of the accident. The driver of the land cruiser, identified as Hon. Bafaki Gordon, aged 48years old a resident of Namugongo – Kira Division in wakiso district died on spot and his body taken to Mulago City Mortuary.
It is alleged that the deceased’s Motor vehicle knocked the rear body of the moving trailer.
Investigations concerning the accident are still underway.
