The deputy defense spokesperson, Col. Deo Akiiki has identified the deceased as Brig Gen (rtd) Kyambadde who retired from the forces last year and Director of Training and Doctrine for Land Forces, Brig Gen Fred Twinamasiko.

The dup were traveling in a motor vehicle registration number H4DF 2588 when the accident occured earlier this morning at Lukaaya on Masaka road.

The news comes days after the defense ministry lost her state minister, Hon. Sarah Mateke Nyirabashitsi who was buried yesterday, September 13.
