Non-staff at the national broadcaster, Uganda Broadcasting Cooperation (UBC) will no longer enjoy taking photos, recording and filming videos at workplace, management has warned
According to a notice to all staff and non-staff released on Tuesday 14th February, 2023, the management announced it has outlawed photography, recording and filming of videos at the station premises with immediate effect.
The photo ban at the parliamentary avenue based media house stems from reasons only known to management.
“This is to bring to your attention that all non-staff are prohibited from filming, recording and photography within UBC premises,” read the notice in parts
Management further noted that security will deal with the culprits as per UBC regulations.
“Anybody caught doing any of the above will be dealt with and security is therefore notified to deal with such cases as per UBC regulations.”
