The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) officially released the 2024 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results on Thursday, marking the conclusion of another successful examination season.
The results which were released by Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni, shows that a total of 722,730 candidates passed the 2024 last year’s PLE an improvement from 648,662 in 2023. They include; 84,301 candidates—representing 10.7% who passed in Division One, while the majority, 397,589, were in Division Two.
UNEB further reported that a total of 64,251 candidates completely failed and are ineligible for admission to Senior One.
Among the best performers across the country, is a young Ugandan rapper Fresh Kid whose real name is Patrick Sennyonjo who has surprised fans with his impressive performance in PLE results, scoring a first grade with 11 aggregates.
This achievement is a testament to a young man’s hard work and dedication who rose from ashes to register a stellar performance in his studies, despite his demanding music career. His success has been met with excitement and praise from his teachers,fans and fellow artists.
This accomplishment is not only a personal triumph but also an inspiration to his fans and aspiring young artists. It shows that with determination and perseverance, one can achieve success in multiple pursuits.
