Ministry of Healthy Uganda has confirmed two new COVID-19 cases rising the number to 81 cases.
The new cases are two young males; 24 yrs – old Ugandan and a 21years- old Burundian refugee both of whom are the contacts to Burundian refugee who tested positive recently upon entering Uganda through Uganda Tanzania border returning from Burundi.
Ministry said the two are under quarantine at Rakai Hospital.
According to a statement by the MoH, all the 1703 foreign truck drivers tested negative for corona virus. It also reported that a total of 2,002 tested on Wednesday April29th,2020 in Uganda.
So far, Uganda has 81 cases of COVID-19, 52 of whom are recoveries, 15 are active cases, 14 are deported cases. There’s no any fatalities registered in Uganda.
